ENDEAVOR CONTENT LANDS MULTIPLE INTERNATIONAL SALES FOR ELEMENT PICTURES’ “NORMAL PEOPLE”

Endeavor Content has sold multiple world-wide territories for Element Pictures’ NORMAL PEOPLE, which premiered on BBC Three April 26^th, BBC One April 27^th, RTE One April 28^th and on Hulu April 29^th.

Rights to the series have been purchased for the following territories: Australia (Stan), Canada (CBC), Denmark (DR Denmark), Greece (Fox), Iceland (Siminn), Ireland (RTE), Finland (YLE), New Zealand (TVNZ), Norway, (NRK), Russia and CIS (Yandex), Sweden (SVT), and by Starz for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Benelux, Latin America, and Japan.

KINDS OF KINDNESS is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.

From filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos and producer Emma Stone comes the incredible tale and fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Dafoe). Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn. Hungry for the worldliness she is lacking, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a slick and debauched lawyer, on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, Bella grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation.

Shiv’s 36 and 7 months sober. She’s determined to get sobriety right this time and steer clear of all her old temptations and triggers. But what if the biggest threat to Shiv’s stability turns out to be closer to home? Giving up alcohol is one thing… but what about giving up her dysfunctional family? Can Shiv stay sober and still have the normal things in life; the things most people take for granted: a career, a relationship, a drama-free family… Or will something have to be sacrificed to keep her on the dry?
