Element Pictures Distribution was set up in August 2007 with a view to bringing the very best of ground-breaking cinema to Ireland.
The first title released by EPD was the award-winning Irish film GARAGE, winner of the Directors' Fortnight at Cannes 2007 and the recipient of four IFTA's. This was followed by the critically acclaimed film KISSES and then FIVE MINUTES OF HEAVEN, WAVERIDERS, WIDE OPEN SPACES, THE YELLOW BITTERN and ZONAD, HIS & HERS, Essential Killing and As If I Am Not There. Currently in cinemas the blockbuster The Guard and this autumn will see the release of Parked and Sensation.
The Home Entertainment arm at EPD continues to go from strength to strength with a growing collection of award winning and critically acclaimed Irish film, documentary and TV drama available on DVD through the EPD label. In addition to theatrical content, Element Pictures Distribution released the long awaited complete series of PURE MULE, a special re-release of the much loved ADAM & PAUL, Marian Quinn's 32A, THE CRAIC, H3 and CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE.
Each Element Pictures Distribution title is available to buy in retail stores nationwide and online. Titles can also be purchased direct from the Element Shop.
