Element’s current productions include: THE FAVOURITE, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and written by Tony McNamara and Deborah Davis, starring Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, and Rachel Weisz, which won 7 BAFTA’s including Outstanding British Film,  the Grand Jury Prize, Best Cast Ensemble at the Critic Choice Awards, Best Actress for Olivia Colman at the Academy Awards and Golden Globes®, and it is was nominated for 10 Academy Awards®  including Best Picture; DISOBEDIENCE, directed by Sebastián Lelio  and written by Sebastián Lelio and Rebecca Lenkiewicz, starring Rachel Weisz, Rachel McAdams, and Alessandro Nivola; THE LITTLE STRANGER, a co-production with Potboiler Productions, an adaptation of Sarah Waters novel of the same name, written by Lucinda Coxon and directed by Lenny Abrahamson, starring Domhnall Gleeson, Ruth Wilson, Will Poulter and Charlotte Rampling; ROSIE directed by Paddy Breathnach and written by Roddy Doyle.

Recent Productions include ROOM, an onscreen adaptation of Emma Donoghue’s award-winning, bestselling novel directed by Lenny Abrahamson starring Brie Larson, Joan Allen, Jacob Tremblay and William H. Macy, which was nominated for four Academy Awards® including best film, best director, best screenplay and best actress for which Brie Larson won. ROOM was also nominated for three Golden Globes® with Brie Larson winning a Golden Globe® and a SAG award for her performance as ‘Ma’. Yorgos Lanthimos’ THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER, winner of the Best Screenplay award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, starring Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrell, and Barry Keoghan, and Lanthimos’ first English language film, THE LOBSTER, winner of The Jury Prize at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and starring Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz with a supporting cast including Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, John C. Reilly, Olivia Colman and Ashley Jensen.

Previous productions include Darren Thornton’s debut feature A DATE FOR MAD MARY, ESSENTIAL KILLING a co-production with Skopia Film by renowned Polish director Jerzy Skolimowski, GLASSLAND directed by Gerard Barrett and starring Jack Reynor, Will Poulter and Toni Collette which had its international premiere at Sundance 2015 where Reynor took the Special Jury Prize for his role in the film, Lenny Abrahamson’s film FRANK, starring Michael Fassbender, Domhnall Gleeson, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Ken Loach’s JIMMY’S HALL, a co-production with Sixteen Films.
