WHAT RICHARD DID HITS NEW YORK CINEMAS FROM TODAY, FRIDAY MAY 10

Recently screened as part of the TRIBECA Film Festival, WHAT RICHARD DID continues to receive unanimous acclaim with The New York Times naming it as it ‘Pick Of The Week’ and praising it for “one of the most compelling scenes to be found in any film so far this year, Richard comes unstrung and howls with anguish and panic that go to the very core of him.”

The New York Post is equally impressed by Jack Reynor who “gives a title-role performance of exceptional breadth and range “and Time Out New York describes the film as ‘Gut-Wrenching’ with a 4 **** review.

Adapted from Kevin Power’s novel BAD DAY IN BLACKROCK and written by Malcolm Campbell (SKINS, SHAMELESS), WHAT RICHARD DID is the third film from acclaimed director Lenny Abrahamson, whose previous work includes GARAGE and ADAM & PAUL. He is currently in post-production on FRANK which stars Michael Fassbender, Domhnall Gleeson and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

WHAT RICHARD DID features an ensemble of young Irish actors including Róisín Murphy, Sam Kelly and Jack Reynor, who has recently signed with US talent agency WME and is tipped to be the next big acting talent to come out of Ireland.

WHAT RICHARD DID is now available on DVD and On-Demand.
