Element Pictures Distribution celebrates IFTA nominations
Friday, January 15th, 2010Five films and two TV dramas from the Element Pictures Distribution slate have received a total of twenty three nominations as part of the 7th Annual Irish Film and Television Awards. The nominations are chosen by IFTA Academy members and a Jury panel of experts from around the world. The award ceremony will take place on Saturday 20th February at the Burlington Hotel Dublin.

Prosperity wins Best Drama Series Award

Prosperity recently won the Award for Best Drama Series at the Celtic Media Festival 2008. The festival took place last month in Galway.
Properity was a series of four one hour films developed by Element Pictures with RTE and broadcast on RTE2 in 2007.
GARAGE & PROSPERITY BIG WINNERS AT THE IRISH FILM & TV AWARDS 2008

Element Pictures were delighted with the success of both Garage & Prosperity at the Irish Film & Television Awards 2008. Writer/director team Mark O’Halloran and Lenny Abrahamson proved their diversity across both film and television as they picked up six awards in total, including scooping the coveted award for BEST FILM , an award accepted by its producers, Andrew Lowe and Ed Guiney.
